Sorry for the late show everyone. This episode we are joined by one of the newest (if not the newest) San Diego Distillery, Cutwater Sprits. Kevin Dougherty gets on the mic to talk about his history with brewing beer and how he made it to Cutwater. You might be surprised to find out that Kevin jumped head first into the world of distilling. Cutwater does come from the purchase of Ballast Point and luckily the spirits division was not sold in the purchase. Kevin then gets into what some of the distilling terms are, like “What is a Super Sack?” We then delve into their spirits and how the cans are different from the bottled beverages. We talk about how beer recipes turn into great spirits as well. We are also joined by my wife Vanessa who helps talk about the It’s Myne Chocolates that Setting Sun is selling.
